Step 1: Palming |
Palming means covering the closed eyes with the palms. When eyes are exhausted, they can be relaxed by palming 5 minutes a day. When the eyes experience pitch darkness, it gives them good rest.
Place your palms over your closed eyes, letting the fingers cross over at the forehead. Slightly cup your palms such that you are not pressing on the eyeballs. |

Step 2: Blinking |
Blink your eyes as often as possible. It helps keep your eyes lubricated and helps relieve tension.
Sit quietly with both of your eyes open. Blink the eyes fifteen times quickly and then close the eyes and relax for thirty seconds. Repeat the blinking fifteen times quickly and then again close the eyes and relax. Repeat this process from nine to ten times. Many people with defective eyesight blink irregularly and unnaturally. This is related to the state of habitual tension in the eyes. |
